Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

His journey into photography began alongside a passion for surfing and traveling the around the world. A graphic designer by trade, he started by editing his own surfing videos and eventually became a cinematographer of his professional surfer friends.

He studied cinematography in Los Angeles, USA, and has participated in—and won awards at—surf film festivals worldwide with the short films "Lonely Boy" and "Surf N' Turf."

He currently lives in Joá, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Working across the advertising, documentary, TV shows, and series, as well as in Undewater cinematography, extreme sports, music videos, and corporate films.
